Completed re-design and refurbishment of former Coach House - Highbury N5

This project involved the complete removal of all internal walls and floors leaving just the four external walls and roof which needed to be temporarily supported and tied with steel props prior to reconstruction.

Steel beams were installed to create new first floor along with a cosy attic room followed by partition walls to create three bedrooms, ensuite shower room and a family bathroom. The Ground Floor was left open plan with superb sliding doors across the complete front wall which seamlessly joins the Living Room with the outdoor decked space.

The property was fully re-wired, underfloor heating and engineered oak flooring installed along with a new kitchen and cloakroom.

Following landscape designers brief, new decking installed to surround the property along with new gravel driveway.

We engaged Abercrombie & Court to help us with a complete refurbishment of an old coach house in Islington, which was not straightforward. The whole process was very ably managed by Bruce and his team and the finish of the house is fantastic. We would have no hesitation in engaging Abercrombie & Court for any future projects - which is quite a rare thing to say following a building project!
