Who are we?

The company was founded in 2005 by Bruce Abercrombie and Ian Court, with the aim of offering a reliable and competitive building, maintenance and refurbishment service to both residential and commercial customers with an emphasis on high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Although a relatively young company, we have already built a reputation for our ‘can do’ approach and reliable service. Our ability to respond to client’s requirements on time, on budget and to the highest standards is evidenced by a growing portfolio of testimonials.


CAPABILITIES

By employing a hands on approach to each project we are able to ensure that our pool of fully trained and qualified sub-contractors and operatives reflect the company’ policies and attitudes, and we can enlarge our labour force at short notice without compromise to quality standards. We are able, for example, to employ 20 plus operatives on a project - or just one. This enables us to work on a wide variety of projects where our contract value can range from £100,000 to £1,000,000.

SAFETY

Before any project can start it is considered and planned in detail to allow for the appropriate method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments to be put in place. Following this the workforce can be inducted so that the project can be carried out to the highest safety standards achievable. Health & safety issues are ever changing on all of our projects and as a company we continually record, monitor and improve conditions wherever we can.


PROJECT MANAGEMENT & CLIENT LIAISON

Throughout the course of any project, from the initial planning stages to the final hand over, we arrange regular update meetings with our clients to ensure that they are kept fully up to speed with the progress of the project.


FLEXIBILITY

Given our experience within the hotel sector we fully appreciate how difficult it can be to schedule works around a fully functioning hotel without disturbing or inconveniencing guests and we will always do our utmost to assist in minimising any potential disturbance by offering to carry out works at less busy times for the hotel, for example or at weekends or evenings. This flexibility is also very important to our residential customers as we do our utmost to minimize any inconvenience caused by the building works.
